In a world with increasing internet speed and bandwidth, video streaming is becoming ever popular, with full HD content now available on demand from anywhere on the planet.
MCWare were recently asked to provide a live streaming service from a SubSea ROV, available to view across an internet connection. Something that has never been done before in real time, MCWare successfully implemented a system, allowing clients to view the ROV doing its work in real time over an internet connection.
Please see a capture of the live stream below, showing the ROV emerging from the sea after finishing a segment of work.
(Please note: This is a capture of the live stream running at 5 frames per second, the actual stream runs at 25 frames per second. Please contact us for a demo of the actual stream)
Steve Marshall, CTC Marine Project Manager had this to say about the solution MCWare incorporated:
”A client requirement for a major offshore project was to receive live video streaming of subsea WROV intervention activities from the field in real time. This was something that had not been done before and MC Ware were requested to investigate and implement such a system. Through a lot of hard work and dedication the results were remarkable, and the end client very happy. MC Ware were very committed in their approach and delivered high quality results."
MCWare are now offering this solution as a service, if you would like more information about it then please don't hesitate to contact us.
